The cable is finished with a sunlight-resistant grey PVC sheath, designed for longevity and weather tolerance in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Application
SEU (Service Entrance Cable, Type U) is primarily used to deliver power from service drop to the meter base, and from the meter to the distribution panel. It is approved under the 1999 NEC for use in branch circuits and is suitable for installation in both wet and dry locations. With compliance to UL 44 and UL 854 standards, it is widely accepted in North America and ideal for residential, light commercial, and utility applications.
