The THHN/THWN-2 Aluminum Alloy Cable consists of twisted and compacted 8000 series aluminum alloy conductors insulated with heat-resistant, moisture-proof PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and sheathed in nylon (polyamide). Rated for 600V with a maximum continuous operating temperature of 90°C, it meets stringent standards including UL 83, CSA C22.2 No.75, ASTM B800/B801, and ROHS compliance. The nylon sheath enhances abrasion resistance, while the PVC insulation ensures durability in both dry and wet environments. Sizes 1/0 and larger are additionally rated for tray cable use and Gas/Oil Resistant II performance, making it a versatile solution for industrial and commercial installations.
